INCENSE | Shechen Surpoe

Shechen Monastery's Sur-Incense is cleanly and carefully prepared according to the instructions found in ritual texts. Its ingredients include the ‘three whites’ (yogurt, milk, and butter); ‘the three sweets’ (molasses, honey, and sugar); the six medicinal spices; (barley flour, and special, sacred substances), which are all precisely combined to make this supreme offering.

Shechen Monastery is under the leadership of Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche and Dilgo Yangsi Rinpoche, with a focus on the Nyingma lineage of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
