What is the Mandala Method

The Mandala Method is a contemporary Tibetan Buddhist practice system that uses the ancient template of the mandala as a blueprint for personal and spiritual transformation. As Lama Tsultrim Allione explains, "The mandala is a template or blueprint of wholeness. It has a center and four directions. Associated with each direction is a color, an element, an obstructed pattern and a wisdom. It is a way to understand yourself and also your world." This method integrates sound, visualization, meditation, art, movement, and elemental practices to transform challenging emotions into wisdom through the framework of the five buddha families.
