BOOKLET | Force of the Mamos
Regular price $36.00/
Printed version of a talk by Sangye Khandro, from the ‘Voices of Wisdom in Times of Crisis’ symposium in May 2020, describes the group of beings known as Mamos, and the specific messages they have for us in this time of great change.
In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Mamo refers to a specific kind of powerful and ferocious worldly dakini, which is considered as one of the most fearsome and malicious spirits. The Mamos become enraged when people lose touch with their own intelligence, and therefore with reality. Once enraged, Mamos tend to cause large-scale problems: fighting and civil discord, famines, plagues, and environmental calamities.
