PRACTICE TEXT | The Sadhana of Ama Labkyi Dronma *Restricted

The Sadhana of Ama Labkyi Drönma (Machig Labdrön) is from the Precious Treasure of the Unborn: The Rain that Fulfills All Wishes, a terma cycle received by Tertön Khakhyab Lingpa from Machig Labdrön in 2007 at Machig’s seat, Zangri Khamar in Tibet, shortly after Lama Tsultrim’s recognition there. During the retreat Lama Tsultrim will give the oral transmission (Lung) and explanation (Tri) of this truly extraordinary treasure that offers a core practice of Machig Labdrön, the four retinue Dakinis, and the specific activity practices for each family: Pacifying, Enriching, Magnetizing, Subjugating, and the Supreme Enlightened Activity connected to Prajnaparamita as well as the feast offering (Tsog).

The Tertön wrote in the colophon: “This extremely marvelous teaching came under the favorable power of I, the Yogin. I have decoded whatever appeared to me from the vast expanse of bliss–emptiness without obstruction and without altering the meaning of the words. Although I received three stacked volumes of texts as a symbolic invocation from Machig Labdrön, the Dakini of the Dharmakaya expanse, I held them with even-mindedness for the time being. Then, with a timely ripening of karmic fortune and auspicious dependent arising, I wrote it down at the supreme sacred place of the Dakini Zangri Khamar.”
